Information for Physicians

Referrals are welcomed, but patients should be informed in advance that Dr. Kidd is opted out of the government insurance plan of Ontario (OHIP). Professional fees are therefore the patient's responsibility.

Provincial government insurance plans will usually cover the cost of basic medical examinations and some procedures. (Quebec will usually not). However all new patients will in addition to their basic medical examination receive an osteopathic type structural examination using cranial technique. If indicated, Autonomic Response Testing (a method of examining autonomic nervous system function) is also performed. These and various treatment techniques are not covered by insurance plans (at least in Canada) and will be incorporated into the professional fee.
